In autumn 2025 we opened our 5th guesthouse in Þórshöfn; Bjarg was built in 1932 and has been completely renovated and changed to 4 small apartments with private bathroom and private entrance.

And did you know…. it´s cheap to fly from Akureyri to Þórshöfn and have the rental car standing by at the airport in Þórshöfn.

If you rather want to drive, there are numerous interesting places to see on the way and the road is paved all the way from Reykjavík to Þórshöfn, when driving clockwise around Iceland.
