Guesthouse LYNGHOLT

Guesthouse Lyngholt is located in the upper half of the village at Langanesvegur 12, close to the swimming pool. The house was built in 1959 and we have been renovating the house more and less since 1999.
As well as running Lyngholt we are also farmers, the sheep farm is about 25 km from the village and we have about 450 sheep. This sometimes explains why we are not that much at the house but we always have a housekeeper on standby if needed.

We want our guests to feel like home, the rooms in Lyngholt are all of different sizes and interior designs. There’s a TV in every room and free wifi. Guests have access to a kitchen and living room facilities and an outdoor BBQ. In all the bathrooms you’ll find towels, cotton pads and a hair dryer.

Thorshofn is an excellent location for birdwatchers, hikers and nature lovers. Only a few minute drive to Langanes and Rauðanes.
